Moreover, this year is the century of his birth and are taking places different exhibitions and events in his memory. If you are interesting in his life and work we recommend you to buy the combine ticket that gives you the opportunity to visit his Foundation and the House-Museum in Haría.

If you are a wine and viticulture lover, you are in luck: in La Geria you could visit lot of wineries for free and you will have the opportunity to taste wine at reduced prices. A great chance if you want to buy a great wine but do not know which one or simply to delight your palate enjoying the views. 

The Monumento al Campesino (the monument to the peasants) is one of the other places that you can visit for free. There you can see the traditional architecture of the island and know more about traditions and handicrafts in the market that take place every day. In the market you will find experiences and workshops for 3€ in which you will learn how to make the typical canarian sauce (mojo canario), the gofio (toasted meal) or the traditional ceramic.
