We go to look over Arrecife in the City Sightseeing tourist train. As it happens in other cities, with the train ticket you can get on and get off in its different official stops all day, that is why we think this is the best way to visit the city. Are you coming with us?

We will have the chance to go across the most important and typical attractions of Arrecife. In addition, our ticket for a day includes the entrance of the Contemporary Art Museum, and the Archeological Museum. We can use any of these two available routes:

Red route: Panoramic vision of the capital coast

Blue route: It includes the red route, and it gets into the city centre as well

The day starts getting on the tourist train in the stop next to the Arrecife Gran Hotel to go across the avenue of Arrecife and get to know the city.

Our first stop will be just in the city centre, where we will visit the San Gabriel Castle and “Las Bolas” bridge, without a doubt, two of the most beautiful and emblematic corners of the city. From here, we can have a walk around the “José Ramirez Cerdá Park” and the “Music Kiosk”. The hustle and bustle on the “Real Street” will attract you. We can have a coffee at any terrace, go shopping or visit some of the expositions take place in “La Casa Amarilla” (The Yellow House). Not far from here, on the Fajardo Street, it is situated the Archeological Museum, which you should not miss.

We continue our tour on the train, going around the “San Ginés Natural Lagoon”, with its traditional boats, and the new area of Marina Lanzarote, an ideal marina to have a walk or a coffee.

We will get off the train at the San José Castle, where is the Museum of Contemporary Art. A visit here is a must for art lovers, and an interesting place to enjoy the views of the bay, with the Mármoles port and Marina Lanzarote in front of us.

We will carry on with the trip on the blue route, going along the tree-lined street “Rambla Medular” to experience the interior of Arrecife city. The stop at the bus station “Intercambiador de Guaguas” will catch your attention. Here we get off the train and have a walk around the theme park of Arrecife to follow our way to the Reducto beach. Its turquoise waters, palm trees, and fine sand invite us to take a dip.

Close to the Arrecife Gran Hotel, we can decide to take back the train and enjoy the views of the promenade to finish our route in the centre of the city.
