When we go on holidays we consult on internet or a guide the best places to visit in our destination or the essential places. However, sometimes, when you return home you have seen photos or report about places that you did not visit nor had no idea about it. In those moments we always we desire a time machine to come back. It is difficult to find travel guides with information that only the indigenous know.

- Cemetery of Cofete
Cofete is one of the most famous beaches of Fuerteventura because of its unique beauty. But few people know that there we can visit the old cemetery. It was built in the early Nineteenth Century and it is placed in the beach. It is surrounded by a small stone wall but it is easy to locate and most of the walls are buried by the sand. The cementery is a symbolic place which deserves respect because there lie remains of ancient inhabitants of the island.

- Church of Pájara
It could be eçstrange to find a church in this list of chermed places, but the Church of Pájara has some characteristics that make it unique and special. The portico of the facade is impressive due to the magnificent engravings made in the stone. These engravings are: suns, snakes, lions, birds and human heads. Historians speak of inspiration in Aztec art.

- Ravine of Las Peñitas
If you like hiking, you will love this place. Not only for having a peculiar orography that makes you move to any other corner of the world and that even for a moment you forget to be in Fuerteventura, but for the particularity of finding in it the Hermitage of the “Virgen de la Peña”.

- Ravine of the enchanted (Barranco de los Encantados)
Another particular place in the inner of the island. As before, if you like to hike, explore and discover, this place will fascinate you. Its orography shows us one of the most original landscapes of the island. The sedimentary rocks create shapes and figures that together make up an incredible landscape.
- Los Molinos beach
It is located on the west coast of Fuerteventura, so the swells are usual. Although you have to be careful when bathing, it is a unique place you should visit. In the south area of the beach and at low tide you can discover some caves where the color of the lava contrasts with the sand. It is a perfect are to bring out your inner explorer.
