Goal: satisfying our customers
The Canary Trip Booking team has always the purpose to give the best in our work and it is reflected in our tours and in the treatment received by our customers. We have the goal to make inclusive trips and, as far as possible, we do our bit to help our customers have fun and enjoy the trip around the island.
Sometime ago, María call us to organize her holiday in Lanzarote. She had in mind different places to visit, the data, dates, etc. However, she wanted to know more about the accessibility to the Art, Culture and Tourism Centres of Lanzarote because she and her couple, Alberto, have a visual impairment. So, the team that love to make the best experience of every traveller and show them every corner of the island, decided to make easier every visit. We wanted that María and Alberto enjoyed the tours without any problem. For that reason, one of our workmate went to every tour with them, just in case they need any extra assistance. They did with us Discover Lanzarote, Manrique Tour, I love Graciosa and Discover Fuerteventura. Do you want to know how it was? At the end of the tours they let us make them an interview. You have their experience below.
María y Alberto, a couple of aventurers
1. We would be grateful if you could tell us something about you. What do you do? Do you travel often?
María: I am physiotherapist, I work in a public hospital in Madrid and Alberto is phone agent in a company a company belonging to the ONCE Foundation.
As for travel, we usually organize them. We go to different places that we are particularly interested in. Normally, we go around the Iberian Peninsula, however, this time we wanted to discover the Canary Islands. We try to take long weekend, Easter or our holidays to organize any trip.
2. Do you travel alone or in group? Do you belong to any association?
Alberto: most of the time we travel alone to places that are interesting for us or curious. Occasionally, we travel in group with an association of ONCE Foundation that we belong to. They plan organize trips and we have done some of them, for example, to Zaragoza.
3. How did you find us?
María: we was looking information on internet and I contact with the Tourist Office Marina Lanzarote, where they give me the website of Canary Trip Booking (www.canarytripbooking.com) to have a look to the different tours available.
When we travel to any place we try to ask first a private guide and get information about the different possibilities that could have in the destination to know how organize the trip.
4. How was your travel experience with us?
Alberto: the tours have been very interesting, specially taking into account the need of a guide that tell you the itinerary in different languages to give the information to everyone. I greatly value the organization: we have done all the tours and routes suggested, there is no place without visit as stated on the description of the tours. Broadly, I am very satisfied.
5. What do you like best about the tours? And the least?
María: I think the organization has been very good, we have done every activity that were programed and in time. We have done different tours so we have seen a range of thing: from the historical places to natural phenomena. We also value the relax time we had on the catamaran in La Graciosa and had another kind of experience. Of course, your collaboration and come one of you with us as a escort service.
And the least could be that in the tourist centers the guide spoke a little bit, although he/she gave all the information along the way and was telling everything about the places we could see from the bus. We are use to receive more information of the guide when we visit other places. But, in general, the experience has been great.
6. Would you change something about the tour?
María: No. I do not change the itinerary. Maybe I will modify the pick-ups points because I consider we lose time. And also, taking into account the variety of tours that there is on the website, we could encompass the tours in other way. For example, it would be nice to see everything related to César Manrique’s work in one day. However, we suppose that the tours are organize in that way to be more comfortable, organize and avoid long ways.
7. Do you appreciate the escort Service or would you have preferred other kind of service? How we could improve?
Alberto: The escort service has been great, very polite. The person who has come with us had a helpful attitude; he always paid attention to our needs. For example, today, when we entered into the cave (Cueva de los Verdes) he looked after at any time, advising us of any irregularity of the floor or something like that. To sum up, the experience was great, I am very happy with the service. There is nothing I would change.
María: We should also appreciate the guy of the service has been a good photographer! The only thing I would change is that the guide of the tour should have been more attentive with us.
8. Would you recommend us to your family, friends or anyone else?
Alberto: Sure, because you offer different, everything is well planning, a great range of products and the pleasant treatment received.
María: We will give a like on Facebook! (Laughs)
