START: park next to the church in the village of Yé.

The path starts near the church, between the village of Yé and the church. At first, we find a small rise that allows us a beautiful panoramic view.
In this area standout the cultivation of grapes and fig trees, we could see them on both sides of the path. The trail is easy to follow and, in reality, you cannot miss it. The only difficulty is the increase of the unevenness in the last part of the path.
La Corona Volcano has 604 metres and is a young volcanic cone. Nowadays, it has been declared Natural Protected Monument. Along the way we could find lichens, houseleek trees (Aeonium lancerottense), calcosas (rumex lunaria) and tabaiba amarga (Euphorbia regis-jubae).
Once we reach to the peak we could see the particular crater, the mix of colours will attract your attention. From here, you will have spectacular views. If we look northwards we will see La Graciosa and Montaña Clara in the in the immense blue of the sea, whereas if we look to the East, we will see Roque del Este (The East Stack). Also, there is a great view of the vineyards of the area and of the particular house known as La Torrecita. If you are interesting on bird watching, it is probably in this area to see some examples of Kestrels (Falco tinnunculus), Sardinnian warblers (Sylvia melanocephala), and maybe any Eurasian blue tit (Parus caeruleus).
It is simple trail which highlights are not only the different species of flora and fauna, it has also an incredible views from the top of the mountain. This trail is ideal for nature and photographer lovers.
When we finished the trail there are several options to do near this area. One of them could be visit Mirador del Río, one of the works of the artist “César Manrique”, from there you can admire the amazing views of La Graciosa Island and Archipielago Chinijo.The other option could be discover the village of Haría, walk around its small streets and have a drink in one of the terrace that you will find in the square of the village. Both options are a good idea to end a hiking afternoon.
