Discover Fuerteventura from Lanzarote

We offer you a magnificent day trip to get to know the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura.

Boat from Lanzarote to Fuerteventura

We start our trip to Fuerteventura by embarking from the Playa Blanca dock for a 35-minute crossing to the Corralejo dock in Fuerteventura.

Discover Fuerteventura

An island of contrasts, famous for its beach paradises, its mountainous landscape, charming villages, large herds of goats and, of course, its pleasant climate.

Our trip to Fuerteventura starts from Lanzarote at Corralejo Pier and heads to the village of La Oliva, which is closely linked to the history of the island.

This location has preserved its traditional charm with white houses and cobbled streets in its historic quarter. La Oliva also has several interesting sights we will see, including the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria, dating from the 18th century and constructed in traditional Canary Island architecture.

From here, we move to the old capital, Betancuria, where we will take some time to stroll through the village streets

Betancuria was founded in 1404 by the Norman conqueror, Jean de Bethencourt, and became the capital of both Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands. Here, the first government sat alongside religious and administrative bodies of the archipelago.

You can visit this place with its rich historical and cultural heritage, as reflected in its cobbled streets, historic buildings and the Church of Santa María de Betancuria. It has been ranked among the most beautiful villages in Spain, so we are sure you will enjoy this visit.

After this stop, we will visit a typical Canary Island farm museum, with different animals and its own cheese factory.

To finish this trip to Fuerteventura, on the way back north we will cross Puerto del Rosario and drive along the coast until we reach the Dunes of Corralejo Natural Park. Here, we will make a stop so you can capture the moment for ever with a photo and enjoy the panoramic view of the expanse of white sand dunes.

After marvelling at the beautiful landscapes on the island, we return to the dock in Corralejo to board again and return to Lanzarote.
