We will start the day at the Haría market, a place full of color and life where the Canarian culinary experience comes to life. Here, you will find a wide variety of fresh and local products that are the essence of Canarian cuisine. Juicy fruits , fresh vegetables , cheese, and freshly baked island bread are just the beginning of this gastronomic adventure. In the market, you can also try other typical products such as sweets, mojos that give flavor to Canarian dishes , a selection of local wines… and enjoy the best crafts that will offer you a deeper insight into the culture of Lanzarote.
From here we will continue our culinary route to the center of the island, specifically to San Bartolomé, a place that treasures the rich culinary tradition of the Canary Islands. Here we will visit the Molina de gofio, an emblematic place that will allow you to learn much more about this typical product of the islands and highly appreciated by the Canary Islands. Gofio, a toasted cereal flour, is a fundamental ingredient in Canarian cuisine and is highly appreciated by Canarians. You will discover its history and its importance in local gastronomy while observing the production process.
We will continue our journey until we reach the Salinas de Janubio where we will relive the island’s past and the importance that salt has had for the survival of the population in times of food scarcity. The island of Lanzarote has a long history in the production of sea salt, and the Salinas de Janubio are a testament to this tradition. Cancellation Policy
Bookings include a deadline to cancel or modify without any additional fees. The modifications or cancellation before the deadline do not included any fees. In case you modify or cancel after de deadline we will apply the fees indicated in the Cancellation Policy that appears in the voucher and in the booking confirmation.
In general, users could cancel more than 72 hours in advance of the activity without any additional fees. We will proceed to refund the total purchase amount. However, if the user cancels more than 25 hours and up to 71 hours in advance of the activity, we will proceed to refund the 50% of the purchase amount. In any case, if the user cancels the booking within 24 hours prior to the date of the activity/service the user shall not be entitled to any purchase refund.
