Northern treasures, El Hierro
We will start our tour in Frontera, we will visit the town and walk through its streets to get into the essence of the Meridian island. We will go up to the Jinama viewpoint to contemplate Frontera from above.
From here we will go to visit the Guinea Ecomuseum, where you can learn about the historical evolution of the island through a tour of a Canarian aboriginal settlement. And the Lizard, a place destined for the captive breeding of the Iron lizard: the Galliota simonyi, declared the most threatened reptile in Europe and among the five most endangered in the world.
Our next stop will be in Las Puntas, where we will visit the smallest Hotel in the world: Hotel Punta Grande. From here we continue our journey towards the Mirador de La Peña, designed by César Manrique and which offers us an impressive panoramic view of the coast and the fertile El Golfo valley, located 700 meters above sea level on a cliff.
Then we will continue towards the Pozo de Las Calcosas, one of the most peculiar towns of El Hierro, it will not only allow you to know the ancestral straw roofs of many of its houses with volcanic stone walls, but also enjoy a nearby natural pool of calm waters, another smaller pool and a large semi-protected inlet from the mighty Atlantic.
Our next stop will be the Villa de Valverde, where we will walk through its streets to admire the typical Canarian architecture and the Church of La Concepción. They will be able to buy and taste the typical sweet, “the quesadilla”.
Here they will have free time to shop or eat in the area. We will end the day at the Garoé Tree Interpretation Center. It is located San Andrés. It is famous for saving the bimbaches, the first settlers of El Hierro, from dying of thirst or supplying the Castilian conquerors with water that emanated from its leaves. Due to a hurricane in the 17th century, the original Garoé fell to pieces and a linden tree was planted in its place.

Cancellation Policy
Bookings include a deadline to cancel or modify without any additional fees. The modifications or cancellation before the deadline do not included any fees. In case you modify or cancel after de deadline we will apply the fees indicated in the Cancellation Policy that appears in the voucher and in the booking confirmation.
In general, users could cancel more than 72 hours in advance of the activity without any additional fees. We will proceed to refund the total purchase amount. However, if the user cancels more than 25 hours and up to 71 hours in advance of the activity, we will proceed to refund the 50% of the purchase amount. In any case, if the user cancels the booking within 24 hours prior to the date of the activity/service the user shall not be entitled to any purchase refund.
