In this wonderful guided tour we will visit two of the island’s protected natural areas of great geological and scenic value: the La Corona Volcano Natural Monument and the Famara cliffs (within the Chinijo Archipelago Natural Park).

Starting from the village of Ye, we will head to the Corona volcano. As we climb the side of the volcano, we will be treated to panoramic views of the agricultural landscape, where vineyards and crops are widespread. The lava flows with their huge basalt blocks will carry you away to an almost lunar landscape. On reaching the crater of the La Corona volcano, we will observe its enormous size and the capricious geological formation of its walls. A perfect moment to take photographs and contemplate the grandeur of the place.

Towards the Risco de Famara ridge

We will resume the hike heading towards the Risco de Famara ridge. We will walk for several kilometers along this cliff with panoramic views that leave no one indifferent. On one side, the infinite sea; on the other, the green countryside of Lanzarote. We will then continue down a ravine with palm trees strongly contrasting with the previous volcanic landscape. A magical path that will lead us to the charming village of Máguez, where we can finally relax.
