We have the goal of giving you different alternatives hiking routes around the islands. In that way, you could enjoy your time outdoor and you will discover different corners. Today we go to La Graciosa Island. It is situated in the north of Lanzarote and it is part of the islets grupos known as Archipielago Chinijo.
Despite of being a small island, La Graciosa gives the opportunity to go around different hiking routes. Today we propose you a route around the north of the island. Its landscape varieties will surprise you.

START: Caleta de Cebo

The trekking route starts in the village of Caleta de Sebo, where you can arrive by ferry from Órzola. It is a circular route, so we return to the same departure point. It is a perfect route to enjoy a day in the island. Depart from Caleta de Sebo and skirt the coast towards Pedro Barba. Along the way will pass beautiful cliffs and small coves that invite you to take a deep.
Once we arrive to Pedro Barba we find a beach protected from the wind with crystal clear waters. This is the second village of the island, although it is mainly intended to tourism. Continue our route along the coast till the Lambra beach, it is quiet beach where you can enjoy nature in its purest state. The dunes of white sand border the beach and contrast with the volcanic rocks.
Continuing to the north, we find the are called Los Arcos, where the volcanic nature of the island has created amazing natural rocks arches. Under the arches you can see how waves break with force on the rocks and create a great spectacle.
Follow the rout and border the Bermeja mountain to arrive to the amazing beach of las Conchas. This beach of white sand has unbeatable views to the islets of Montaña Clara and Alegranza. In its 600 metres of length you can feel how you break away from the world to connect with your adventurous and wild side. There are normally strong swell because this beach is in the north, so take care if you take a deep.
Once we have enjoy our day in the beach we return to Caleta de Sebo by the inland path. It will take about 45 minutes, but pure nature will surround us all the way back.
RECOMMENDATION:
- Do not forget your swimsuit, a hat or cap, the towel and sun cream.
- Wear comfortable and suitable shoes. There are stony paths.
- Bring enough water and food, because there is not possibility to get it on the route. The only place you can buy something is in Caleta de Sebo, there are restaurants, bars and supermarkets.
